Jewelry quality control

he Quality Controller is responsible for ensuring the quality and

consistency of products manufactured at the James & Jewellery Industry facility.

This role involves inspecting finished goods, monitoring production processes,

and implementing quality control measures to meet or exceed customer

requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

 Perform comprehensive inspections on finished products to verify

compliance with established quality specifications and tolerances

 Conduct in-process quality checks at critical production stages to identify

and resolve quality issues early

 Analyze quality data and trends to identify opportunities for process

improvements

 Collaborate with production teams to develop and refine quality control

procedures

 Maintain detailed quality records and generate reports for management

and customers

 Investigate customer complaints and quality-related incidents, and

implement corrective actions

 Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control best

practices

 Stay up-to-date with industry quality standards, regulations, and

customer requirements

 Assist in the development and implementation of quality management systems

Required Qualifications:

 Associate's or Bachelor's degree in quality assurance, engineering, or a

related technical field

 3-5 years of experience in a quality control or inspection role, preferably in

a manufacturing environment

 Strong understanding of quality control principles, statistical process

control, and root cause analysis

 Proficient in the use of quality control tools and equipment, such as

callipers, micrometres, and coordinate measuring machines

 Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

 Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality manuals

 Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with

production, engineering, and management teams

 Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO +001) and

continuous improvement methodologies
