Position Overview
We are seeking a Full-Time Video Editor with extensive experience in Direct Response Marketing and Video Sales Letters (VSLs) to join our creative marketing team. This is a critical role in our content production pipeline as we work towards scaling to $40 million in annual revenue. Your expertise in high-converting video content , especially for e-commerce, will be essential in driving our marketing success.
This is a full-time, remote role that requires full dedication. We are looking for someone who can handle a dynamic workload and be a key contributor to our team. Flexibility and adaptability are essential, but we require full availability during working hours to meet deadlines and collaborate with the team.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Response Video Editing:
- Edit and produce high-converting Direct Response Marketing videos , including Video Sales Letters (VSLs) , designed to engage and convert audiences across multiple social media platforms like Facebook , YouTube , and TikTok .
- Ensure that all video content aligns with our brand guidelines and is optimized for performance across various digital channels.
Hook & VSL Creation:
- Create short-form hooks (5 seconds to 1 minute) for video ad campaigns, often combined with longer-form VSLs (3-6 minutes).
- Work on both hooks and VSLs depending on project needs, ensuring that each video grabs attention and drives conversions.
Timely Delivery & Collaboration:
- Work closely with the creative team to develop video concepts and ensure all content is delivered on time and meets high-quality standards.
- Adjust to evolving video production workflows and meet deadlines consistently as the company scales.
Content Optimization & Trends:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in Direct Response video marketing and continually optimize content to maximize engagement and conversions.
Performance & Bonus:
- Eligible for a $50 bonus for each video that becomes a winning ad in scaling campaigns, with potential earnings of $250-$450 in bi-monthly bonuses.
Skills and Experience Required
Expertise in Direct Response Marketing:
- A proven track record in Direct Response video editing , with a focus on creating high-converting content for e-commerce brands.
VSL Editing Experience:
- Significant experience in editing Video Sales Letters (VSLs) , with an understanding of how to create engaging long-form video content that drives conversions.
