Overview:
As a Product Manager for Jira, you will play a crucial role in supporting the product strategy and execution for Jira. We are transforming Jira into a collaborative work management solution for every team. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance Jira's capabilities and drive adoption across various teams. This role requires a strong understanding of product management principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders. You will operate as a local expert for your team, interfacing with Atlassian product leaders and immediately contribute to complex, high-impact projects.

Responsibilities:
Support product strategy: Developing product strategies that drive Jira usage growth and connect to Atlassian’s AI system of work vision
Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure successful product launches and enhancements
Customer engagement: Engage with customers to gather feedback and insights, ensuring that Jira meets the needs of its users and integrates seamlessly into their workflows.
Feature fevelopment: Contribute to the identification and development of new product features and improvements that enhance user experience and drive growth
Market analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities that can inform product decisions, utilizing Atlassian's go-to-market tactics to drive adoption and engagement.
Qualifications:
On your first day, we'll expect you have:
Technical fluency to understand and deliver enterprise requirements
True customer obsession – you go out of your way to talk to customers and solve their problems
Experience inspiring and mobilizing cross-functional teams towards a common vision
Experience developing a multi-year product strategy and roadmap, gaining buy-in to executive leadership, and rallying a cross-functional team
A track record of building relationships and influencing all levels of the organization.
Experience building a compelling business case for new opportunities
Experience:
Typically, product managers at this level have 3-5 years of product management experience.
A degree in computer science, business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
