Your tasks
• As part of your agile development team, you will create new features in our apps that go straight from your desk into the hands of our customers.
• It goes without saying that you will be intensively involved with our customer journeys: You build up a deep understanding, improve them, advise the Customer Journey Experts and your Product Owner on new functions and design elements and thus take our user experience to ever new heights.
• You never miss a milestone in the life cycle of a build. From functional specification and work estimate to design, development, (automated) testing, bug fixing and finally deployment, you can leave your personal fingerprint everywhere.
• And of course, you'll also be actively involved in researching and developing new technologies to stay at the cutting edge.
Your profile
• At least 3 years of experience in mobile Android development with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
• Solid knowledge of native operating system features and processes for signing and deploying apps (Google Play Developer API, GitHub Actions or Jenkins)
• Experience in writing and maintaining comprehensive, automated unit and integration tests
• Know-how in material design and Android UI design guidelines as well as backend communication (REST and JSON) of apps
• Familiar with state-of-the-art development tools (MacOS, Git, Android Studio and CI/CD) and solid understanding of memory management, concurrency and multi-threading
• Able and willing to guide other developers through code reviews, design reviews and pair programming
• Good written and spoken German and English
