Robert Half is seeking a Georgia barred attorney with Trusts and Estates experience to assist our client with an ongoing legal research initiative.
Project information:
• Start: September 2024
• Duration: 6 months with possibility of extension
• Pay: $40/hour
• Location: Remote
• Hours: 5-15 hours per week
Responsibilities include:
Our client is looking for a Georgia trusts and estates attorney with at least 5 years’ experience to draft, review, and revise practical guidance articles on trusts and estates and probate topics, review and update wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related estate planning documents, and draft new forms, checklists, charts, and other how-to guidance on estate planning topics, as needed.
Requirements:
• Law degree from an accredited law school
• Member, in good standing, of the Georgia State Bar
• 5+ years of experience as a practicing trusts and estates attorney
• Substantive experience drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives, and other estate planning documents
• Excellent writing, editing, and legal research skills
• Comfortable working in Microsoft Word with track changes and conducting online research
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Ability to complete assigned projects by prescribed deadlines
• Organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage tasks effectively
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience as a practicing trusts and estates attorney in Georgia be considered for this role.
• Possession of a law degree from an accredited law school
• Proven experience in conducting legal research and drafting legal documents
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Word for document creation and editing
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
• Familiarity with health care laws and regulations
• Experience in estate planning and probate law
• Ability to conduct and interpret charts and graphs for analysis
• Knowledge of legal research platforms, specifically Lexis
• Capability to review and edit legal documents for accuracy and compliance
• Ability to follow directives and create checklists for task management
• Experience in photocopying and scanning legal documents for record keeping
• • Should have passed the bar exam and have a valid license to practice law in the United States.Law degree from an accredited law school
