Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the process of admission, transfer amp; discharge of patients.

• To plan amp; provide comprehensive nursing care to patients as per the clinical standards.

• Implements amp; adhere to hospital policies and protocols.

• To promote safe and infection free environment for patients, visitors amp; coworkers.

• To collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery say:

Ø Forwarding therapeutic diet requisition

Ø Sample amp; report collection

Ø For environment hygiene assurance

Ø Safety amp; security of patients amp; materials.

Ø Indenting, procuring amp; refund of medications.

• Follow doctors instruction amp; order. Assist doctor in various procedures.

• Observe changes in patients condition and records, take necessary action and report to concerned authority.

• Impart health education to the patient and hisher attendant.

• Accompany patients during inter amp; intra hospital movement.

• Responsible for complete and accurate documentation and recording. Documentation should be clear, concise, legible amp; timely.

• Periodical inventory and maintenance of equipment.

• Adhere to infection control practices and biomedical waste management.

• Adhere to all safety policies and safe work practices sharp policies, false communicable diseases etc

• Escalation of any incidentissuecompliances related to patient care and department.

• Participate in training programmes and updating their training passports.

• Perform any other duty that may be assigned from time to time.
