Position Purpose:
Responsible for delivery of Security Services as per contractual stipulations and implementing site security SOP like Physical Security, and Electronic Surveillance Systems. Traffic Management, Material Movement, Scrap, Firefighting, Emergency Management, Night Surprise Check, Parking, Access Control Systems, MS Office (Word/Excel/PPT).
Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
To provide oversight and supervise Plant Security orations at the Kalwe site to ensure the safety and protection of People & fixed assets in the Kalwe Plant. Be the functional specialist in Security/safety/firefighting/loss prevention/traffic management and guide the management in these areas. Setting up security management policies and guidelines and supervising its implementation as per Guidance policies from Novartis. Setting up policies for the car park and traffic management
Security team Workforce planning in all three shifts so as to ensure 24/7 Plant security in compliance with local statutory requirements as per applicable law e.g. Factories Act, Maharashtra Guard Board Act, etc. Guide all the partners (Security team, Contractors) on the security policies. Ensuring the regular training of the Security team as per the pre-determined training plan. Ensure that all security personnel are having an excellent bearing, smart uniforms, and turnout. Carrying our regular/ surprise checks on the security team on alertness and preparedness and report. Ensure compliance with statutory obligations by the service provider
Identifying and recommending cost optimization. Assist the Safety team in setting up ERT and ensuring the preparedness of ERT in handling crises and during mockup drills. Review of traffic plan and ensure the adequacy of traffic signage within the premises in coordination with HSE function. Carrying out investigations and reporting to the management on all security-related issues. Maintaining a good intelligence gathering mechanism for proactive preventive action
A daily walk around to audit the quality and consistency of security processes. Control and oversight of Management of non-Hazardous waste and scrap material movement from site to Authorised vendor. Ensuring the GMP for the security team and all associates, vendors, and contractors.
Prepare the daily attendance report and share it with all partners, Preparation /Review/approval of monthly vendor Bills and MIS report. Coordinate with the law enforcement agencies as required
Client Relationship: Coordinate periodic meetings for updates, Critical issue management for all incidents and exceptions.
Secondary Responsibilities: All logbooks, gate passes, and registers are checked on a daily basis. Incident-free operations, Client issues, Preparation of monthly vendor Bills, and MIS report
Special Projects: Coordinating in Installation of CCTV / Crash barriers and any other similar security systems in the properties, Carrying out detailed security and safety audits of the campus and implementation of findings, and Taking care of entire security and loss prevention aspects. Carry out training for supervisors/guards on certain important topics and train the trainers about the required standards of the field. To make security forces differentiators in terms of total quality and bearing.

Ex-Servicemen from Defence /CISF/BSF or other paramilitary forces
Marathi, English & Hindi speaking(Read/Write)
