Job Description
This senior architect will provide architecture leadership and strategies on technology platforms and integrations for Claims solutions. This will include the development of strategies and roadmaps to leverage scalable Cloud architecture and other modern platforms, minimize integration complexity and enable adoption of DevOps for Claims applications and Advanced Analytics. The architect will be expected to work with and guide other architects and Claims IT engineers and on adoption of the platform and integration strategies and on technology modernization initiatives. The architect will also be responsible for investigating and driving the beneficial integration of innovative technologies such as mobile applications, ePayment platforms, IoT, and AI services into Claims applications and processes. Critical to this role will be extensive experience with the Azure Cloud platform, microservices architecture, DevOps practices, and integration best practices and patterns.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in relevant technical field, or equivalent work experience
6-8 years application architecture experience; insurance and claims experience a big plus Significant engineering and delivery experience with .NET and cloud tools and languages: C#, Java, Azure, Python, Kafka, Terraform, git, Jenkins Experience with Duck Creek Claims a plus Cloud engineering or architecture certifications a plus Ability to operate independently and prioritize work with high-level oversight and objectives Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, with thorough attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal/relationship management skills
The pay range for the role is $102,000 to $168,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant's skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package, more details on which can be found on our careers website. The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
