LOOKING FOR A CHANGE?
Leading Edge Joinery Specialists Ltd are looking for a qualified Joiner or Cabinetmaker Craftsman to join our small team.
We have a wide variety of work from kitchens and wardrobes through to wooden windows and doors.
A large percentage of our work is in the Central Otago and Lakes district and regularly involves high end finishing. This includes working on site.
Our workshop has just been extended and a new CNC machine and edgebander have been installed. CNC experience would be an advantage but not a necessity.
Our normal hours are 7am-4.30pm Monday to Thusday and 7am -1.00pm on Fridays
The successful candidate would need to have the following:
A good work ethic and attitude.
Be able to competently read and write in the English language.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as a team
Know how to turn up to work on time and regularly.
Be of clean appearance. Be fit and healthy.
Be able to pass a drug test and have a clean police record.
Be prepared to learn new things.
Have a current NZ drivers' licence.
Hold NZ residency or citizenship.
Must be willing to work some overtime when necessary.
We are based in Gore, Southland.
Unlike a lot of NZ, Gore is still an affordable place to own your own home and still have a decent lifestyle. Gore is a good community that has plenty of recreation right on our doorstep with good hunting and fishing and plenty of sports teams and clubs of various codes.
