As a Senior Journey Expert, you will be working on various payment projects in the Domestic Payments Tribe within Group Payments. You would be part of the initiatives within the tribe that drives project outcomes and deliverables. You would be driving the project objectives, scope and requirements. Key role would be to work with stakeholders across Operations, Technology, customer support/contact centre and product to specifically build out the capability requirements for the initiatives within Domestic Payments. Contribute to the initiative Architecture/design review with respect to the requirements. You will enable and inspire a multi-disciplinary and business focused squad to pursue its delivery of various Initiatives. You will ensure that the work is operationally, technically, and strategically aligned to the Tribes mission and engage with other teams to support and manage interdependencies. Whilst this role is not a people manager, it is an influencing role where you will be galvanising the squad and external stakeholders around project plans and objectives.
What Will Your Day Look Like
The successful Journey Expert will:
• Work in collaboration with stakeholders to drive the business requirements, architecture, design and build through to implementation.
• Ensure scope and requirements are well understood and articulated in a way that can be progressed by our Delivery Partners.
• Ensure that work items are correctly broken down to support Delivery with the tools that are used in ANZ (Jira, Confluence, PS Project etc.)
• Drive the Change management, and Operational Risk assessments, and communications.
• Collaborate with the Tribe Lead, Initiative Lead and Product Owner to assess demand and deliver prioritised projects and initiatives.
What will you bring?
Proven experience as Project manager and Business Analyst across Business and Tech delivery. Ability to comprehend complex business process issues to assist in building project requirements. Need to be able to work in a team culture of collaboration and transparency. Excellent communication, leadership and influencing skills. Proficiency in Scoping, Planning, Requirements mgmt, Stakeholder influencing & Risk Management. May be required to work in Individual capacity without a squad for deliverables with significant impact to bank. Domain knowledge and familiarity with Payment type such as SWIFT, Real-time payments, and ISO20022 would be a good fit. Exposure to working in a multi-cultural, Global Capability Centre environment.
