Journey Level Carpenter

Key Information:
• Must have your Journey Level Carpentry ticket.
• Ability to read and understand technical guides, drawings and specifications.
• Hours: Project dependent; minimum 40 hours per week, with overtime necessary during the busy season (April-October)
• Hourly rate is dependent on experience.
• Health benefits, pension plan, RRSP matching, vacation pay offered.
Job Description:
• Ability to read and understand technical guides, drawings and specifications.
• Manual dexterity and ability to use carpentry tools safely.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Comfortable working at heights.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
Experience and Certification Requirements:
• Journey Level Carpentry ticket required.
• At least 5 years of carpentry experience.
• CSTS 0+, and WHMIS 2015 are required.
• Fall Protection & Rescue, Aerial Platform, Confined Spaces, Rigging/Hoisting and Hand. Signals, and First Aid/CPR certification would be an asset.
• A reliable means of transportation is required.
• Proficient English language skills required.
Education: Journey Level Carpentry ticket or equivalent.
