Job Description
Journeyman Mechanics will:
Be responsible for repairing, installing, and troubleshooting production equipment in a corrugated production/converting plant in an efficient, high quality, and safe manner.
Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work requirements.
Install, align, take apart and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctions.
Work on a rotating shift schedule between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.
Qualifications for Journeyman Mechanic
A technical associates degree or Journeyman certificate in an relevant field is required. General knowledge of gear drives, conveyors, pneumatics and hydraulic systems is required for this Journeyman Mechanic role.
Compensation & Benefits
As a Journeyman Mechanic, you'll make $35.17 per hour on day one and have access to our two health and wellness clinics. Services are completely free for all employees and their dependents! Then after 60 days, you will have a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, STD, LTD, pension and 401(k). You also be eligible for up to 3 weeks of vacation in your first year!
