Qualifications
An active and unrestricted Plumber license by the State Board of Plumbing Examiners is required or at a minimum, a Journeyman License
The license shall be active throughout the duration of the Contract
Have held a Journeyman Plumber license for at least two years
U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residency is required
Must be able to pass and maintain a clean background investigation suitable for operating on a Federal Facility
Must successfully pass drug screening prior to employment and random screening through their employment

Responsibilities
The Journeyman Plumber will be responsible for all operations and maintenance requirements for plumbing including valves, conduit, fixtures, and new line installation
Installs, inspects, and repairs pipes and plumbing systems to make sure all building fixtures operate correctly
Finds the source of leaks and blockages, fixes, or replaces broken parts and tests the plumbing system
Keeps accurate and complete records of all work, materials, supplies and document and records work status and details against Work Orders in the CMMS system
Carries out regular maintenance of plumbing systems
Performs installation of plumbing systems
Inspects previously installed plumbing systems
Performs any necessary repairs to previously installed systems
Answers calls for plumbing issues from tenants and customer
Keeps up to date with current safety regulations and requirements for the various plumbing systems a company installs and maintains
Works carefully to follow all current regulations for plumbing work to ensure that all installed systems pass inspections
Supports on-call shifts as part of a rolling schedule
Communicates well with clients to ensure client satisfaction
Communicates well with team members and fellow employees
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

ICMS is seeking an experienced and licensed Journeyman Plumber to join our team in support of one of our federal clients. This position is 100% onsite at a Federal Government facility. This is a Union position through the Teamsters Local 769 Union. The Journeyman Plumber will be responsible for all operations and maintenance requirements for plumbing including valves, conduit, fixtures, and new line installation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Installs, inspects, and repairs pipes and plumbing systems to make sure all building fixtures operate correctly
• Finds the source of leaks and blockages, fixes, or replaces broken parts and tests the plumbing system
• Keeps accurate and complete records of all work, materials, supplies and document and records work status and details against Work Orders in the CMMS system
• Carries out regular maintenance of plumbing systems
• Performs installation of plumbing systems

Requirements:

• Minimum of five (5) years of full-time experience in the plumbing trade on large complex buildings (commercial office preferred), the major duties of which include maintaining and/or repairing building plumbing systems
