Cut and assemble pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures to meet specifications
Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance
Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues effectively and efficiently
Conduct onsite field work, including meeting with homeowners and assessing their properties
Communicate clearly with clients, providing detailed explanations of issues and repair options
Maintain accurate records of services performed and ensure all documentation is completed promptly
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
Stay updated with the latest plumbing techniques, tools, and industry standards

B.K. Mechanical Services is seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair for both commercial and residential properties. As a Journeyman Plumber with us, you will ensure that our clients' plumbing systems are efficient, reliable, and safe.

We are your "All In House" Air conditioning-Heating-Plumbing-Electrical, and Emergency Automated Generator Systems service and installation team on your Commercial or Residential property. Whether you own a Commercial or Residential building, whether you need HVAC installation or service, our goal is to provide you with key environmental systems expertise. You should be at ease and in control - a feeling of confidence and comfort that we are happy to help you establish and maintain.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, fixtures, water heaters, and commodes in both commercial and residential properties.

The ideal candidate should possess:
• A minimum of two years (2) of experience in residential and commercial plumbing service and repair.
• Demonstrated knowledge of plumbing systems and standards.
• Effective and professional communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and personal tools are a must.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, sit, crawl, or kneel, sometimes for long periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional plumbing certifications are a plus.
• Knowledge and experience in fixture replacement and repair, commode replacement and repair, and tank-type water heaters.
• Preferred: Experience with video inspection of drain lines, sewer cleaning, repair, and replacement, and leak location and repair.
• Tradesman or Journeyman license is required.
