Responsibilities
Diagnose, service, and repair heavy equipment and mobile machinery
Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, powertrain, and mechanical systems
Complete field service calls or shop repairs depending on the assignment
Document work completed and follow site-specific safety standards
Assist with installation, component swaps, and project work for PT roles
Requirements
Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician / Heavy Duty Mechanic certification
Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and equipment repair experience
Must be able to pass a Drug & ******* test (mandatory for most sites)
Own tools required for part-time installation/repair assignments
Valid driver’s licence
Safety certifications considered an asset (H2S, CSO/CSTS, First Aid, etc.)
Assets (Not Required for In‑Town or PT Work)
Experience with large mining equipment such as:
CAT
Komatsu
John Deere
Hitachi
2+ years of mining-class equipment experience is an asset but not mandatory for in‑town or part‑time jobs.
