Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Work with minimal direction to all drawings, sketches, layout boards, etc., and/or verbal instructions
• Prepare and apply prime or finished coats of paint (protective and decorative) to all parts of finished products and/or equipment
• Operate brush or spray equipment as required and is responsible for proper storage and handling of all paints and painting supplies
• Responsible for the care and maintenance of all Company owned finishing and painting equipment and facilities
• Assist less experienced personnel with work methods, work habits and performance.
• Perform other tasks related to his/her classification
• Other duties, as required
Qualifications:
• Must have certification from a recognized training facility, or has demonstrated the ability to meet the above requirements to the satisfaction of Management.
• Light/Heavy industrial painting and/or coating application experience required
• Hand tools required
• Safety Training an asset but will train as required

• Typical Schedule is Monday-Thursday, 10-Hour Shifts

• Industrial Painting/Coating: 2 years (required)
• Light/Heavy Industrial Manufacturing: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
• Journeyman Certificate (preferred)
