Retro Mechanical Inc. is a growing plumbing and HVAC company located in Calgary, AB. We are looking for motivated, dependable, and hardworking individuals to join our team.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Plumber/gasfitters will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of plumbing and mechanical systems for mostly commercial projects in Calgary and the surrounding area. We're a small tight knit group that supports each other to bring projects to completion and maintain a high level of quality. Vehicle and health spending account provided to the right candidate.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Install and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
• Remove, install, repair, and maintenance of various plumbing fixtures in residential and commercial buildings.
• Installation and maintenance of water supply systems, sewage lines, etc.
• Perform routine inspections of water supply lines to ensure they are in good condition.
• Perform plumbing duties such as line cutting, line installation, etc.
• Assist with the installation of air conditioning units.
• Assist with the installation of heating units in commercial buildings.
• Install gas appliances such as boilers and furnaces.
• Install water softeners or reverse osmosis systems as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management or supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a valid driver’s license.Must have a clean driving record. Must have a dependable vehicle that runs on fuel and not from a water system. Must be able to pass a drug test. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Must be able to work on your own without supervision. Must be able to pass a background check. Must be able to pass an DOT physical exam. Must be able to communicate effectively with customers. Must be dependable and punctual. Must have good customer service skills. Must have good written and verbal communication skills. Must have basic mechanical aptitude. Must have reliable transportation to get to work. Must have good driving record before Retro Mechanical Inc.. Must have reliable transportation to get back to work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00-$48.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
