Inner City Diesel Ltd. (ICD) is excited to announce we are seeking experienced Journeyman/Red Seal Automotive Technicians to support the growing needs of our on site team!
This position is on a 14-day rotation, working 12-hour shifts per day, with furnished accommodations and fly in fly out for workers across Canada.
Travel for non-local hires is 100% reimbursed in the form of flights or fuel, and all accommodations are professionally cleaned and fully furnished, including a full kitchen with dishes and appliances, tv, cable, a washer/dryer, Wi-Fi. Transportation to and from work is also provided!

Responsibilities:
Repair, maintain, calibrate and/or adjust system components as required.
Frequently testing of assigned system components.
Routinely complete scheduled Work Order requests for repairs or services.
Provide Electrical assistance when required.
Apply all applicable legislated codes to preventative maintenance and repairs.
Attend daily toolbox talks and safety meetings as scheduled.
Actively participate in the safety program and maintain strict adherence to OH&S guidelines.
Chevrolet experience is an asset.
Assist assigned HVAC and other trades in their duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
Journeyman/Red Seal Automotive Technician
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with Chevrolet
Experience with mining trucks and site fleet trucks
Key Strengths and Competencies:
Ability to work with diverse individuals and groups.
Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
Willing to follow all ICD Employee Policies
Willing to follow all ICD Health, Safety and Environmental Procedures
Successful candidates must have following prior to confirmation of their start date:
Comprehensive ******* and drug test clearance letter
Copy of valid class 5 driver’s license
Copy of current 3-5 year clean driver’s abstract
Copies of journeyman (red-seal if out of province) trade tickets
Copies of training certificates related to site-based work
