Job Description
We require a seasoned design engineer with a strong background in uPVC/PVC designing and extrusion technology.
Responsibilities
- Understanding market requirements for new designs of Windows profiles, feasibility against required specification with Design calculations, Simulation, process standards.
- Generation of 3D, 2D Drawings of mold/tooling in confirmity with technical specification and design standards.
- Knowledge of screw extrusion process, machinery and extrusion dies for uPVC profiles extrusion, plastics welding.
- Preparing technical specifications, drawings and development schedules for the development of new extrusion profiles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical degree
- CAD experience
- Knowledge of PVC/uPVC designing and extrusion.
- Proficient in Solid works
- Strong organisational and communication skills
