Job Title: Junior Accountant
Location: Sewri, Mumbai
Position Type: Full-time
Overview:
Our organisation, Petrox Packaging India Pvt Ltd is engaged in manufacturing tin cans for topmost brands in India. We are seeking a Jr. Accountant who has at least 1-2 years of experience working in the accountant role. The ideal candidate should have strong foundation in accounting principles and a desire to grow and be an integral part of the team in coming years. The Jr. Accountant will assist in daily accounting functions of the organisation, working closely with the senior staff to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
Maintains daily accounting and assisting senior in maintaining various financial reports.
Perform routine accounting tasks, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable.
Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
Assist in preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or equivalent working experience of at least 1-2 years in a CA firm.
Understanding of TDS Returns.
Efficient in filing GST Returns including GST Reconciliation.
Proficient in MS Excel and Tally Prime.
Ability to work collaboratively with others and communicate effectively.
