Job Overview:
We are seeking a Junior Content Designer & Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for digital media, creativity, and social media trends. As a Junior Content Designer, you will play a key role in shaping our clients' digital presence through engaging content creation and social media management.
You will work remotely but will need to be available during Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) hours to collaborate effectively with the team and clients. The position offers flexibility in working hours based on project requirements, making it a great opportunity for someone who thrives in an autonomous work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Design:
Design visually appealing and engaging content for various digital platforms, including social media posts, website graphics, newsletters, and more.
Work with the team to develop creative concepts and ideas that align with our clients’ branding and goals.
Edit and optimize images and videos for different platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.).
Ensure that all content maintains a high standard of design quality and brand consistency.
Social Media Management:
Manage and curate content across multiple social media platforms, ensuring that posts align with our clients’ strategic goals.
Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of social media campaigns.
Engage with audiences and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep our clients ahead of the curve.
Collaboration & Reporting:
Work autonomously while being accountable for the content you create and publish.
Collaborate with the digital marketing team to plan and execute campaigns.
Provide regular updates and reports on the performance of content and social media campaigns.
Key Requirements:
Experience:
1-2 years of experience in content creation, social media management, or a related field.
Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
Experience using design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.), or other design tools like Canva.
Understanding of social media metrics, analytics, and tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.
Skills & Qualities:
Must be attentive, accountable, and able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
Strong knowledge of the latest social media trends, platform algorithms, and content creation best practices.
Strong design and creative skills with a good eye for detail and aesthetics.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A team player who can collaborate effectively but also thrives in an independent work environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Education:
A degree or diploma in Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time remote position, but you will need to work according to Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST).
While there is flexibility, working hours may vary depending on project requirements and deadlines.
You will be reporting directly to the Digital Marketing Manager and working closely with the design and content teams.
