Job Description
Job Title: Jr. Contract Analyst - Grade 1
Location: Chennai
Reports to: Group Contract Analyst
A quick snapshot…
As a Junior Contract Analyst, you will be working on Contract abstraction for both fundamental and specific terms involving diverse clients spread across locations globally. In other words, you will need to analyze, highlight, review, and/or extract key data points from a wide variety of post-execution contracts such as NDA, MSA, Patent License Agreements, IT Procurement Agreements, Software and Data License Agreements, Vendor Services Agreements, SOW, Inter-Institutional Agreements, Supply and Distribution Agreements, Lease Agreements, and such other commercial contracts.
Why it’s a big deal…
The abstracted information you provide will help Conga’s esteemed customers make informed business decisions. The data which will be generated in the process will help in developing the ML/AI models, it will in turn help in improvising Conga products and processes. Your involvement as a POC with various internal stakeholders for that spot/addressing/escalations, and your collaboration with different disciplines/departments will ensure a smooth and efficient process of work.
Are you the person we’re looking for?
Education. A bachelor’s degree in law or equivalent from an institution recognized by the Bar Council of India.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. You’re not just comfortable engaging in collaborative discussions, but initiating them, too. You are skilled at reading and adapting to different communication styles. When you speak you are clear and concise. Your strong listening skills foster connections with our clients and allow you to accurately collect the right information so you can resolve issues in the most expedient way.
Technical Skillset. You are likely to have proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) will be a pre-requisite to perform the job well.
A good eye for data interpretation. You should be the type of person excited to dig into data and determine which contract clauses are to be amended. Being able to explain why and how to better optimize contracts for the future is key to collaborating cross-functionally throughout Conga.
