Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Junior Data Engineer with over 5 years of experience. The Junior Data Engineer will be responsible for tasks such as data engineering, data modeling, ETL (Extract Transform Load), data warehousing, and data analytics. The role will involve working closely with the data team to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and data infrastructure. The Junior Data Engineer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and optimize data-related processes.
Qualifications
• Data Engineering, Data Modeling, and ETL (Extract Transform Load) skills
• Data Warehousing and Data Analytics skills
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java
• Experience with SQL and database technologies
• Strong understanding of data management concepts and best practices
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and related tools (e.g., S3, Redshift, BigQuery)
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
