Role : Jr DevOps Engineer
Duration: 1 year
Experience: 3 to 6 months

Job Overview:
The duties of a DevOps Engineer in a startup can vary depending on the needs and stage of the startup, but some common duties include:
Collaborating with development teams: DevOps engineers work closely with developers to understand their needs and requirements for infrastructure and tooling. They help developers automate deployment and testing processes and build out efficient CI/CD pipelines.
Building and maintaining infrastructure: DevOps engineers are responsible for creating and managing the infrastructure that supports the startup's applications, services, and data. This includes setting up servers, networks, databases, and storage systems, as well as configuring and managing cloud infrastructure.
Automating processes: DevOps engineers automate deployment, testing, and monitoring processes using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Chef. This helps to streamline processes, reduce errors, and speed up development cycles.
Monitoring and responding to incidents: DevOps engineers are responsible for setting up monitoring and alerting systems to detect and respond to any issues with the startup's applications and infrastructure. They also work on fixing issues and improving systems to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future.
Ensuring security and compliance: DevOps engineers implement security best practices, such as encryption and access controls, to ensure the startup's systems are secure and compliant with relevant regulations such as GDPR or HIPAA.
Scaling infrastructure: DevOps engineers work to ensure that the startup's infrastructure is scalable to handle increasing traffic and user loads as the business grows. They also optimize systems for performance and cost efficiency.
Documentation: DevOps engineers document infrastructure and processes, such as code deployments and system architecture, to ensure that knowledge is shared across the team and to make it easier to onboard new team members.
