Job Profile:-
At Oriserve, customer experience is at the forefront of everything we do. We are now looking for a DevOps Engineer to help us build functional systems that improve customer experience. You will be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations that meet our customers' needs. If you have a solid background in software engineering and are familiar with Shell scripting, Linux administration & working on cloud environments then we’d love to speak with you.
Objectives of this Role:-
• Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure on cloud
• Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
• Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Monitoring and resolving critical system/host level alarms/alerts
• Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’
• Working with software developers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:-
• Deploy updates and fixes
• Provide Level 1 technical support
• Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
• Perform root cause analysis for production errors
• Investigate and resolve technical issues
• Develop scripts to automate visualization
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
Our ideal candidate should have:-
• B.tech/BCA in any specialization
• 6 months - 1 year experience on AWS, Linux, Jenkins, shell scripting.
• Good to have knowledge of mongoDB, mysql, Azure, GCP, ELK, nodeJS
• Any configuration management tool, monitoring tool. Add on- Prometheus & Grafana, Ansible etc
• Should be able to take ownership of tasks, must be responsible.
• Problem-solving attitude with a collaborative team spirit
