Job Description
professional plumber and piping designer is needed to oversee the design of plumbing, firefighting, and industrial piping systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing technical specifications, preparing calculations, and ensuring compliance with NBC 2016 and IS codes.
Key Responsibilities
• Design plumbing, firefighting, and industrial piping systems, including water supply hydropneumatics systems, pump room layouts, and wastewater treatment plants.
• Develop a thorough understanding of NBC 2016 and IS codes to ensure compliance in all aspects of piping design.
• Create fire protection systems, including pump rooms, sprinkler systems, internal and external hydrants, and internal and external piping for firefighting and plumbing.
• Work on designing industrial projects involving mechanical systems such as compressed air systems, fuel supply systems, and industrial gas supply and storage systems.
• Prepare tenders, estimate mechanical works, and possess basic knowledge of AUTOCAD and BIM software.
• Prepare weekly progress reports related to design and interact with clients and architects on project-related matters.
• Coordinate with other services (HVAC and electrical) and site teams to monitor project progress and quality.
• Provide technical details for construction drawings and have knowledge of air conditioning, ventilation systems, and clean
