On the back of our Series-A funding, the next stage of our ambitious journey begins. Already used by fast-growing scale-ups and global enterprises, such as Checkout.com, Depop and Investec, we’re pushing the boundaries of how people learn.
We're looking for a Frontend Developer who has software development superpowers and a passion for building tech for good. At HowNow, work is "not just a job", it's an expression of everyone in the team. Are you interested in joining our team?
The key things that we will be looking for in applicants
Developing user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Having basic knowledge or some practical experience in working with React, Node, HTML5, CSS3 (Flex/Grid), and SASS.
Developing responsive user interface components and implementing them following well-known React workflows such as Context/Flux/Redux.
Having a sound understanding of Redux Saga, React Router, Styled Components, ES6, and Jest.
Familiarity with the newer specifications of EcmaScript will be considered a plus.
Gaining experience with common front-end development tools like Webpack, Gulp, Browserify, etc., which will be beneficial.
Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
Striving to optimize components for maximum performance across a variety of web-capable devices and browsers.
Valuing practical experience or personal projects that demonstrate your skills, although this position is suitable for an entry-level developer.
Being passionate about frontend development and eager to learn and grow in a dynamic team environment.
