POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Jr. Graphic Designer, you will create visual concepts for digital and print media (social posts, website assets, presentations, brochures, ads), executing designs from briefs and preparing files for production working in collaboration with the larger creative team to meet deadlines.
In this role, you will be guided by senior designers and the account management team to understand client objectives, develop creative solutions, and deliver high-quality design deliverables that exceed expectations.
Your responsibilities will include executing technical tasks related to web design, digital collateral and print ensuring brand consistency across projects, and actively contributing to our positive team culture.
This is a newly created entry level position, with opportunity to grow.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design Execution: Create graphics for social media, web, print (flyers, brochures, emails and presentations, often using provided templates. Ensure all work aligns with brand guidelines for both client and D4D corporate work.
Asset Preparation: Edit images (resizing, background removal), format documents, adjust typography, and prepare final artwork for print or digital release.
Technical Expertise: Execute basic coding tasks related to web design and interactive elements.
Concept Support: Assist senior designers with initial concepts, sketches, and pitching ideas.
Collaboration: Work with senior designers, account management and content teams to understand project needs, deliver against design strategy and budget parameters. Respond efficiently and effectively to design feedback.
Task, Time & Deliverables Management: Follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize workflow efficiency and ensure consistent quality of work. Management and tracking of all work in agency project management tool. Consistent and accurate time tracking using agency project management tool. Organize and manage project files for archiving, following established procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience (2+ years) in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing digital design, web design, branding, and motion graphics.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.
Knowledge of basic coding languages (HTML/CSS) and motion graphics software (After Effects).
Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and branding.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts and ideas effectively.
Detail-oriented with exceptional time management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field (or equivalent experience).
