This is a full-time on-site role for a Jr. Sous Chef (South Indian) at Riga Foods LLP in New Delhi. The Jr. Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the head chef in day-to-day kitchen operations, including preparing South Indian dishes, overseeing kitchen staff, and maintaining food quality and safety standards.

Role Description:-

• Plan and create menus that showcase South Indian cuisine.

• Source and procure ingredients, optimizing quality and cost.

• Control food costs, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.

• Prepare authentic South Indian dishes, ensuring quality, taste, and presentation.

• Manage kitchen operations, maintaining hygiene, safety, and efficiency standards.

• Develop and implement new recipes, menus, and promotions.

• Supervise and train junior chefs and kitchen staff.

• Ensure dishes meet quality, taste, and presentation standards

• Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards

• Manage inventory levels, minimizing waste and overstocking

Requirements :-

• Culinary skills in South Indian cuisine

• Experience in preparing and presenting South Indian dishes.

• Knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills

• Relevant culinary degree or certification

• Experience working in a high-end restaurant or catering service is a plus
