Job Description
As a Jr Video Editor, you will be an integral part of our Creative team, assisting in the development and implementation of video content strategies to tell compelling stories and drive engagement with the target audience. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of video editing while contributing to real projects and campaigns.
• Key Responsibilities:
• 1. Video Editing:
- Use video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects) to assemble footage, add transitions, effects, graphics, and sound to enhance the storytelling.
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure that videos align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
• 2. Post-Production Tasks:
- Handle post-production tasks such as color correction, audio enhancement, and finalizing video formats for distribution.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure timely delivery of edited videos while maintaining high quality and consistency.
• 3. Creative Ideation:
- Brainstorm and contribute creative ideas for video content that resonates with the target audience and effectively communicates the brand message.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing to enhance the quality and effectiveness of our video content.
• 4. Collaboration and Feedback:
- Participate in creative meetings and provide input on video concepts, scripts, and storyboards.
- Accept feedback from team members and stakeholders to refine edits and meet project requirements.
• 5. Quality Control:
- Ensure the technical quality and consistency of video content by reviewing footage, checking for errors, and making necessary adjustments.
- Adhere to brand guidelines and project specifications to maintain consistency across all video assets.
• Requirements:
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of video production techniques, including camera operation, lighting, and audio recording.
- Understanding of storytelling principles and ability to create compelling narratives through editing.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Prior internship/work or coursework related to video editing and production is a plus.
