Designation: Edit Executive
Department: Video Editing
JOB PURPOSE:
The role requires manipulating and editing film pieces in a way that is digitally appealing. Responsible for taking briefs to grasp the production team's needs and specifications. Reviewing shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes' value.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES & DELIVERABLES:
Understand the client requirements and complete end-to-end execution of the project.
Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
Create rough and final cuts
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
Be a part of brainstorming and ideation sessions with the Video Producers and Creative teams.
Coordinate with the necessary internal teams (Account Management and Creative) before finalizing the edits.
Work on the Post-Production part of the project. Work with the Video Producers, Video Animators and Creative teams closely..
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Candidates with 2 years of work experience can apply. Proficient in Final Cut Pro X, Adobe After Effects
Proven & demonstrable experience of being able to multi-task.
