About the internship
We are looking for PHP development intern(s) to join our team for a 6-month long internship. The ideal candidate should be proactive and willing to learn new skills. During your internship, you will work on various ongoing projects and assist the team with the development & maintenance of the codebase, technical documentation, etc.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Working with PHP/JavaScript and MySQL to design, develop and debug web applications
2. Integrating back-end services with PHP/JavaScript based frontend needs
3. Working with the team to manage, optimize and customize multiple web applications
4. Creating and maintaining technical documentation - SRS, user flow, product maps, etc.
We are looking for the following abilities and skillsets:
1. Good understanding of frontend & backend technologies
2. PHP, Laravel, MySQL, etc.
3. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, etc.
4. Should know how to use Git and GitHub
5. Basic knowledge of Docker, AWS EC2, and other cloud services
6. Familiarity with OOP, relational & non-relational databases would be a plus
7. Knowledge of design and prototyping tools and familiarity with development tools
8. Personal computer with internet access
+. When working remotely, you should be available to participate in audio/video meetings during working hours
