Job Description
Established in 2003, Jungle Sports is one of Western Australia’s most popular children’s multi-sports programs, we teach children aged 18 months to 6 years for our term time classes and up to 12 years for parties & events. Jungle Sports introduces children to the fun and excitement of the most popular sports whilst helping them develop coordination, encourage social skills and increase confidence. Do you love sports and are great at engaging with children? This is a fantastic opportunity to come on board in a pivotal role in our business at a time when we are continuing to expand. You will be involved in running day-to-day term programs in the morning and some after-school sessions also. You will also be running birthday parties on the weekend and holiday camps during school holidays. In addition, this role comes with leadership responsibility for other coaches and will include training and supporting new coaches as they come on board.
For the right person, there is the opportunity to have a management role and share in the success of the business. If you want to share in the profit that your success creates, without the risk of going it alone, this could be the starting point that you're looking for. This is a mobile position so you will be out on the road traveling to various locations to run sessions. We will try to coordinate locations depending on where you're based. These sessions will generally be for 2-3 hours mid-morning from Monday to Sunday and afternoons 1-2 days/per week. Extra weekend shifts to run birthday parties will also be available. Most weeks, you will be working approx. 20 hrs/week with the scope to grow these hours as the business expands.

WEEKDAY Shifts from 0915-1130 and 330-530pm

What we are seeking:
Demonstrated experience in coaching children’s sporting programs
Understanding of physical education and sporting techniques (Including fundamental movement skills)
Fantastic outgoing, friendly and energetic style
Confidence in dealing with young children and their parents
Current driver’s licence and own transport
Highly organised and reliable
Willingness to obtain a Working with Children check
