Job Description:
We are seeking a diligent Junior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an educational or similar institution. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with daily financial operations, maintaining accurate records, preparing financial reports, and supporting senior accountants in various financial activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Handle accounts payable and receivable functions.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
Assist in budget preparation and monitoring expenditure.
Prepare invoices, bills, and manage vendor payments.
Maintain financial databases and records.
Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience (2-4 years) as a Junior Accountant or in a similar role.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
