Job Purpose:
The Junior Accountant will be responsible for performing general accounting tasks and supporting the finance team within the real estate market. The ideal candidate should have excellent attention to detail, be highly organized, and have a strong understanding of accounting principles
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Review and reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and vendor accounts.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis.
• Assist with financial reporting including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and tasks as required.
• Comply with accounting standards and procedures.
Requirements
• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of accounting software and financial reporting systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of local accounting regulations and standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes quickly.
