About the Role

As a Junior Accountant, you'll play a key part in ensuring clean, accurate, and timely financial records. You’ll work closely with the finance team on a variety of hands-on tasks including tracking costs, reconciling inventory, and supporting reporting and month-end processes.

If you’re a highly organized, detail-focused professional with 1 to 3 years of accounting experience, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Track, enter, and reconcile financial data using QuickBooks and Excel

Assist in preparing monthly reports such as P&L, balance sheets, and inventory summaries

Support accounts payable and receivable processing and ensure timely payments

Monitor inventory and cost of goods sold; investigate variances

Assist with GST/HST filings and payroll-related accounting

Help maintain internal controls, compliance, and financial accuracy

Support the month-end close and audit preparation

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth financial operations

What You Bring:

1 to 3 years of experience in accounting or a related finance role

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business

CPA designation preferred OR Candidates who are currently in progress and have completed most CPA requirements (e.g., passed key exams, nearing certification) will also be considered

Strong knowledge of general ledger, journal entries, and month-end close

Comfortable working in Excel including pivot tables, lookups, and formulas

Experience with QuickBooks Online and inventory tracking

Familiarity with GAAP and cost accounting principles

Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and communication skills

Manufacturing industry experience is a strong plus
