Full Job Description
We are seeking an energetic Junior Accountant with 2-3 years of practical experience in accounting and a background in GST filing. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accounting support to senior staff members and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions using Zoho Books.The ideal candidate should be able to handle multiple companies with ease.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and other financial reports
Perform daily accounting tasks such as data entry, accounts payable, and accounts receivable using Zoho Books
Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
Prepare and file GST returns for multiple companies
Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings for multiple companies
Monitor and maintain inventory records
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and procedures for multiple companies
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
2-3 years of practical experience in accounting with a background in GST filing
Strong proficiency in Zoho Books and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Meticulous and detail-oriented
Curious and willing to ask questions
Keen learner and straightforward
Hardworking, honest, and able to maintain confidentiality
Comfortable working with minimum supervision and delivering accurate results
Ability to handle multiple companies with ease
