Job Description
We are looking for a candidate who will have a head for numbers, experience with MS Excel, and strong analytical skills. The Junior Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Supervisor/Director and will need to demonstrate the ability to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced office environment.
Responsibilities
Basic knowledge of MS Excel (If functions, Vlookup, Pivot table, Conditional formatting)
Highly Proficient in the use of accounting software like Tally ERP +.
Customer management
Vendor management
Analyzing past records
Bank visit for cheque drop/statement/cheque book issue or any other issue
Knowledge of GST to be able to pass GST entries like payment of GST.
Knowledge of TDS of income tax. Like what TDS rate will be applicable under which section. How to pass TDS entry in tally.
Skills required
Proven experience as a junior accountant
Excellent organizing abilities
Great attention to detail
Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
Some experience working with general ledgers
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with ERP systems, including Microsoft Office
Able to multitask and prioritize work effectively
Able to maintain confidentiality
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
IPCC pass out preferred
Experience - 1 year (Preferred)
