Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry, ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
Handle data entry and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
Support accounts payable and receivable processes
Perform bank, vendor, and account reconciliations
Help with month-end and year-end close processes
Assist in maintaining general ledger entries and adjustments
Prepare and process invoices and receipts
Maintain documentation and filing systems for accounting records
Support audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations
Collaborate with the finance team on budgeting and forecasting
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
0–2 years of relevant work experience
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, GINESYS , or SAP)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Candidate:
Female candidates encouraged to apply
Candidates with experience or training in GINESYS preferred
Basic knowledge of taxation and compliance (GST, TDS, etc.)
