Tiziana Aiello Studio is looking for a junior architectural and interior design assistant to join its team in London.
We are a dynamic and growing design studio specialising in both architectural and interior design projects. Our team is passionate about creating innovative, functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces, and we’re looking for a junior architectural and interior design assistant to join us on a part-time or freelance basis.
Role overview
As a junior architectural and interior design assistant, you will work closely with our senior designers to support the development of architectural and interior design concepts. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in the design field and contribute to exciting projects.
Key responsibilities:
• assist in creating architectural drawings and interior design layouts using AutoCAD
• help with the preparation of design presentations, including mood boards and visualisations
• create and edit images and renderings in Photoshop for design presentations
• support with the layout and design of project documents in InDesign
• collaborate with the design team to ensure projects meet quality standards and deadlines
• participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to design ideas and concepts
• perform additional design-related tasks as required
Qualifications:
• good knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop and InDesign is essential
• strong eye for design, with a keen attention to detail
• basic understanding of architectural and interior design principles
• ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• strong communication and organizational skills
• a portfolio showcasing design work (if available) is a plus
• previous experience or internships in architectural or interior design is a bonus, but not required
