Squire and Partners is seeking a junior architectural illustrator to join its team in London.
Starting Autumn 2026
The junior architectural illustrator will expand their in-house illustration department at the London practice.
The candidate must be passionate about architecture and the visual communication of ideas, with a keen eye for the composition of images. A background in architecture, interiors or illustration is required.
As a part of the illustration department, you will work alongside both architects and interior designers to create high quality, atmospheric imagery, working on exciting and varied projects.
The ideal candidate will have:
• a good understanding of the Adobe creative suite
• an understanding of SketchUp and other 3D softwares
• knowledge of EnScape and V-Ray
• be self-driven, with a good eye for composition, palette and detail and be passionate about architecture and visual presentation
The successful candidate should be keen to learn from our experienced team, be willing to further develop their skill set, while also having enough experience to manage their own workload. They must have excellent attention to detail, be organised and efficient with the ability to work towards tight deadlines.
This position is permanent, working with a small team on 3D visuals, hand drawn illustrations, diagrams and 2D colourings.
Applicants with relevant experience and strong portfolios of work will be shortlisted for interview.
