The Junior Assistant Designer will work alongside the Senior Design Director and be responsible for creating conceptual 3D designs, preparing quotes, engaging with clients, and other duties as required. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, be highly organized, and have hands-on experience in design industries such as construction, interior design, and home-building.

Junior Assistant Designer
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Achieve sales targets through efficient and effective sales planning assisted by the Design Director
· Implement the assigned sales plan to formulate effective client call strategies to maximize opportunities
· Seek out new promotional opportunities, develop campaigns and promotions to drive sales and raise brand awareness
· Ensure that customers’ needs are met and build productive customer relationships
· Engage in a dialogue with customers to understand their vision and how our products could meet their vision
· Assist in sales planning, sales strategies, and forecasting processes
· Stay informed on technical and product related materials
· Develop and prepare architectural designs and drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, and specifications
· Arrange material samples to be sent to client for approval
· Maintain and manage designs for multiple projects at once by ensuring they are updated as progression occurs for each design/build project
· Complete documentation packages and produce drawing sets based on client's needs to present to technical team
· Ensure clients’ needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner
Abilities/skills and competencies desired:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in design is required, and 2 years’ experience in sales/service industry is preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design is required
Must have Sketchup and Layout Experience
Highly energetic team player with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and adaptable to change
Creative and resourceful with demonstrated problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; intermediate Microsoft Excel experience is required.
Strong time-management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Maintain a professional appearance and support a positive company image to the public
