Roles & responsibilities
• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP+Laravel.
• Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools.
• Write clean, secure, test-driven, easily maintainable, and modular codes.
• Ability to write tests and technical documentation for applications.
• Database designing and maintenance.
• Problem-solving skills and critical mindset.
• Good communication skills & presentation skills.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development.
• Client communication (verbal/written) as and when required.
Skills required
• Hands on experience in PHP+Laravel development.
• Understanding of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Strong experience with PHP, including OOPs, security, refactoring & design patterns.
• Understanding of the MVC pattern such as Laravel.
• Excellent knowledge of Laravel framework and experience building factories/facades/libraries using abstract classes, interfaces, traits etc.
• Experience in unit testing using testing frameworks.
• Good knowledge of RDBMS (MySQL/PostgreSQL), database designing, and query optimization techniques.Mogo db will be an advantage.
• Hands-on experience in RESTful API design and development.
• Understanding of web development best practices such as code optimization, caching, and security.
• Understanding of various data formats such as XML, JSON, YAML, and CSV.
• Hands on experience on payment gateway integration
