Built for Scale: A Junior Back End Developer Role
We are looking for a skilled junior engineer to join our product team. As a key member, you will be responsible for building web applications that meet the needs of our customers.
• Participate in the entire application development lifecycle, with a focus on backend development and debugging
• Maintain a deep understanding of Database concepts
• Develop clean, efficient code using Node.js and PostgreSQL
• Troubleshoot and improve existing backend systems
• Perform UI tests and suggest improvements
• Manage cutting-edge technologies to enhance legacy applications
• Collaborate with Front-end developers for seamless integration
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather and address technical requirements
• Provide support and training to internal teams
Key Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Back-end developer
• Proficiency in Node.js, PostgreSQL, and JavaScript
• Experience working with REST API and web services
• Understanding of database design, normalization, and query optimization
• Familiarity with the web development process, from concept to deployment
• Exposure to CMS frameworks and version control (Git preferred)
• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Strong analytical, time-management, and teamwork skills
