Location: 17-11 Progress Avenue, Scarborough, ON, M1P 4S7- required to report to the studio located as this location for video shoots.
Hours: Available at some time from Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (EST)
Compensation: $150 CAD per day, approximate 5-6 hour shoot. Compensation is based on 1 completed show recording (~12 min show) and 1 short recording (45 sec recording).

About the Role

As a Cameraman at Thermodyne Systems, your footage will be featured on our YouTube channel, websites, and social media platforms. You will collaborate closely with our YouTube hosts, video editors, and the wider Marketing team to produce high-quality, engaging content that elevates our brand.

Job Responsibilities:
● Operate professional video cameras and equipment to capture high-quality footage.
● Baseline setup is already available and primarily needs to be run.
● Give feedback to host about corrections for optimal shot.
● Work closely with the digital marketing team to ensure high quality videos consistent with provided guidelines.
● Set up and adjust lighting, composition, and camera settings to achieve the desired visual effects. (baseline setup in place)
● Take videos of curated A-rolls and B-rolls during shooting days.
● Capture high-quality vapor shots
● No editing is needed; you will send the raw files to our editor.
Job Requirements:
● Must submit a portfolio showcasing your expertise in videography. We are specifically looking for video materials used for YouTube or other social media, and product presentation. - we are not assessing the actual content, it’s only the videography.
● Must be able to report to the studio located in Scarborough, ON during shooting days.
● Proficient knowledge of camera equipment, lighting techniques, and cinematography principles.
● Experience in using DSLRs, video cameras and mobile phone cameras for filming
● Knowledge of post-production processes is preferred but not required.
● When shoot is complete data files need to be 100% adequate for post production and publishing. Fluent in English verbal and written communication
