Job Description
construction company from Vancouver with a remote island building division. Our current project is on Hardy island and will require two full-time carpenters/apprentices until June 31st when the project pauses for the summer. We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic and motivated individuals who possesses attention to detail and a love of carpentry. Ideally you will have 3-4 years experience in framing, siding, and exterior finishing in either new construction or large renovations. As a self-performing General Contractor, we are able to teach you all aspects of carpentry from formwork to interior finishing, giving you the skills and opportunity to move through all the carpentry positions.
Work schedule is four 10 hr days with transport by water taxi from Saltery bay included in the paid hrs
We are registered with ITA and encourage all types of education and red seal endorsement.
You will be covered by WCB, EI, stat holidays, sick days, vacation pay and be put on payroll with direct deposit.
