With a commitment to excellence and a passion for delivering trading technology directly to clients and via our network of strategic partners, we are looking for a Junior Copywriter to join our Marketing team to deliver on our continued growth plans.
Eightcap is headquartered in Melbourne, Australia and has support offices in the UK, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Guatemala, Philippines, and the Bahamas.
As a Junior Copywriter at Eightcap, you will have the chance to develop your skills in a collaborative and supportive environment. Reporting to the Global Copy Lead, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside a large team of specialists — including our design, CRM, and social media experts — where you’ll collaborate, learn, and grow in a supportive, creative environment.
You will write engaging, on-brand content for a range of marketing projects. At Eightcap no day is the same – you’ll write a variety of copy and content tasks – including crafting marketing emails, writing SEO articles, creating social media and AD copy, and more. You’ll also write across our various brands; namely Eightcap and Eightcap Partners, as well as others from time-to-time, ensuring diverse creative responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative copywriting: Produce original, creative copy and content for blogs, social media, emails, landing pages, and more. Original copy is a must – AI tools can be used to assist in ideation, but a creative flair for writing is a must.
Appling brand tone of voice: With guidance and training, you’ll master our unique tone of voice; creating copy that authentically represents our brand and resonates with our audience.
Collaborative work: Work closely with the design team, social media team, and CRM team to ensure copy aligns with creative concepts and marketing streams. You’ll be involved in brainstorming sessions and ensure consistency across all marketing materials.
Content ideation: You’ll have the creative space to come up with ideas – whether this is an article topic, marketing campaign slogan/concept, or something else.
Leverage tools: Training will be provided for our daily marketing project management system, as well as other tools such as SEO keyword research and analytics tools. You may use AI to support you with ideation and proof-checking, but not as a copy/content generator.
SEO keyword research & writing: Learn how to find SEO keywords and apply SEO best practices in your writing to help boost organic traffic and enhance content visibility. (Training will be provided, but basic SEO experience/knowledge would be a perk.)

Open to feedback with a strong desire to grow and develop your copywriting skills.
A degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent work experience of approximately 1-2 years).
Basic understanding of SEO is a plus (or a willingness and eagerness to learn!).
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and basic writing tools (e.g., Google Docs, WordPress).
Interest in or basic knowledge of CFD trading or financial markets (beneficial but not required).
Writing portfolio desired, but not essential. You will complete a copywriting example/test in your interview process.
