We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Creative to join our Brand Creative team. In this role, you will support the Senior Creative Lead in design execution and help shape two of our dynamic brands. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to continue building our brand identity.
Design & Production
Assist the Senior Creative Lead in the design and execution of various digital and print materials, including but not limited to:
Coffee packaging, labels and cafe poster menus and print placements
Social media development (graphic, typography, motion graphics)
Website assets
Email assets
Adapt and resize existing creative for different formats and channel
Assist with mood boards, presentations, and creative research
Help maintain and organize the company's digital asset management (DAM) system, ensuring all files are correctly tagged, archived, and accessible.
Support the creation of engaging motion graphics or short video content for social platforms (a bonus skill)
Brand & Consistency
Ensure all creative output aligns with the established brand guidelines, voice, and unique aesthetic of each specialty coffee brand.
Participate in brainstorming sessions for new product launches, seasonal campaigns, and brand initiatives.
Conduct basic photography and photo retouching of products and internal events as needed.
Collaboration & Administration
Work closely with the Brand, E-commerce and Retail teams to understand project needs and deadlines.
Manage multiple small design projects simultaneously, tracking progress and prioritizing tasks effectively.
Stay up-to-date on design trends, coffee industry aesthetics, and new digital tools.
Qualifications
Required Skills + Experience
0-2 years of professional design experience (internships count).
Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field, OR equivalent practical experience.
Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite and Figma (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is mandatory.
Basic understanding of design principles (typography, color theory, layout).
A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design skills and a fresh, fun aesthetic.
Preferred (But Not Required)
Experience with video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects).
Familiarity with web design platforms (e.g., Shopify)

Compensation
This role's base salary range budget is $50-55k CAD, based on skills and experience along with eligibility to participate in the benefits plan after successful completion of probationary period.
