To know more about us you can visit our website Requirements About Role: Junior MS-SQLTechnology Specialist – Database Administrator. We are looking for an experienced and passionate technology specialist having strong technical and customer facing skills and who can work and grow within a dynamic and highly skilled professional team providing application & database management services. Expected Technical skills and Responsibility : • Should have experience on handling Multiple Database landscapes. • Experience in Planning and Executing DB migrations, upgrades, implementation, and ensuring steady state support models • Should be having experience in various technical services delivery for multiple DB landscape such as : sql, oracle, postgress etc. • Experience into Implementation of Monitoring platform for database services • Should be able to managing DB alerts on database anomalies & Incidents • Support team in routine health and Integrity Checks • DB Backup management services, Implementation of Best practices optimizations • Performance Baseline & Tuning – optimization and diagnostics • High Availability & Disaster Recovery (HA & DR) Implementation • Installation & Upgrades (Including OS tuning) • Ensuring a future-proof architecture • Capacity planning • Homogeneous Data Replication services • Data Migration services • Basic DB management Scripting & Automation • Security & Compliance Checks & DB Hardening • Auditing setup and support • User Access Management & support • Trusted customer adviser for an optimal and efficient DB migrations, implementations, and operations on Public/Private Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) • Experience with Managed services Providers on Cloud platform is desirable • Experience in any other classic RDBMS platform such as MySQL, Sybase, SAP HANA will be plus. • Ready to work in rotational shifts as per customer's requirements . • Operational expertise to run Enterprise Class DBs on Cloud Platform • Overall responsible for managed services SLAs like availability (proactive monitoring), Incident resolutions as per Protera SLAs, System recoverability (100%) - Backups & DR • Expected to prepare and manage customer specific technical procedures. • Expected to prepare and present Protera standard Monthly reports with interactive discussions and detailed analysis on important KPI /Exceptions • Expected tp organize and drive ad-hoc customer meetings for managed services delivery • Constantly improve, continuous education and keeping up-to-date with the rapidly evolving Database Products industry. • Ability to participate in projects across various teams, cultures, geographies and time zones • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. • Innovative problem solving & analytical skills • Should have strong technical background for overall DB Administration services. Good to have : • Experience into Oracle and Postgres DBA skills. • Experience in DB Technical architecting – On Prem and Public Cloud • Experience in DB Management Services - technical account management • Experience in DB Technical Landscape ownership & support management Nice to have : • Certifications in database administration & DB management on cloud platforms • Basic knowledge on SAP on AWS and SAP on Azure. • Must be well organized, detail oriented and capable of juggling numerous priorities • Works well with teams or in a team environment, with the ability to work independently Other Qualification : • 3 to 5 years or higher of strong technical experience in database management services for platforms - MS SQL Server and Always On. • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or higher • Excellent communication skills in English - verbal and written • Strong presentation/communication/facilitation skills (oral and written) • Ready to work in rotational shifts as per customer's requirements .
