Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in Designing Clothes:

o Work closely with the Head Designer to develop and refine clothing designs.

o Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for new collections.

o Use design software to create detailed sketches and technical drawings.

· Source Necessary Accessories:

o Identify and source high-quality fabrics, trims, and other accessories needed for production.

o Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate prices and delivery schedules.

o Ensure all materials meet the brand’s quality standards.

· Communicate with Master at Production Level:

o Serve as a liaison between the design team and production team.

o Communicate design specifications and requirements to the production master.

o Ensure the master understands the design vision and executes it accurately.

· Assist in Bringing Designs to Reality:

o Support the production master in translating designs into finished products.

o Oversee the sampling process and provide feedback to ensure designs are accurately replicated.

o Address any production issues that arise and provide solutions.

· Understand Fabrics and Design Software:

o Have a deep understanding of various fabrics and their properties.

o Proficient in using design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD programs.

· Quality Control:

o Conduct thorough quality checks at various stages of production.

o Ensure finished products meet the brand’s high-quality standards.

o Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.

· Productivity Monitoring:

o Track productivity at the production level and ensure deadlines are met.

o Identify and address any bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the production process.

o Provide regular updates on production progress to the Head Designer.

· Communication:

o Maintain clear and effective communication between the design team and the production team.

o Facilitate collaboration and ensure all team members are aligned with project goals.

o Keep the Head Designer informed of any issues or developments in production.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.

· 1-2 years of experience in fashion design or merchandising.

· Proficient in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD).

· Strong understanding of fabrics, materials, and garment construction.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
